Hangzhou trip

Ok finally I have decided to start blogging about our Hangzhou trip last last weekend. Heh heh heh was being a little lazy... Here goes..

Before our whole trip started, we had a GREAT BIG SHOCK on the MRT. There was this lady, she entered the train with her little girl, sat down, den stood up again, went to the door of the train and squatted down. The underwear of the girl was already pulled down. Cos I was seated near the door, I stared at her, thinking of what she is trying to do. I was thinking, "what the hell is she doing? dun think the girl is gonna pee here right? Its like INSIDE the train leh and I dun think the mum is that cui bah??" And then, it happened. SHE PEE-ED IN THE TRAIN!! OMG!!!! U dunno the shock that all of us had. There was this korean lady who stared at them, cursed something in Korean (I think) for a long long time till she alighted. There was like the urine smell in the train and the urine was like sliding across the floor la. YUCKS!! I cannot believe someone can do that leh! Got so urgent anot? Anyways, after that Bene and I tried to 偷拍 them and this is the result: Quite a young mother right? But so inconsiderate. After she did that she still pretend like nothing happen like that la. And the guy beside her is her husband I think. The most ironic thing is, when all these were happening the mobile TV in the train was showing a clip of China Chinese people doing courteous things ... I was like totally TURNED OFF! Den at Shanghai Station, I saw a boy pee-ing on the ground. Is pee-ing in public places a "hot" thing for kids to do here or what? Ok moving on to the happier stuff... we were just in time for our train to Hangzhou and off we go!! My train tic! More pictures taken inside the train: The guys trying desperately to play cards in the train to kill time. See how awkward Bene's position was.. hahaha. The girls all decided that Beauty Sleep is still our top priority! Out of the window.. feel so emo hor... hahaha Finally reached Hangzhou!! Still inside the train station: Our hotel. After being harrassed by tons of tourguides in the train station, we settled on this one. The Food Street!! Eventually got there after much asking around on the streets. Heng we got JY who is always willing to ask strangers for directions. Good job Da Ge!! (: No worries mum, I didn't finish all that by myself =P Still at food street, we saw this shop that sells "traditional" medicine. Think these are frogs... YIKES... Didn't try the frogs but we did try the FRIED SCORPIONS! Me and my scorpions: the lady is frying them now.. lots of noises not sure if its the scorpions screaming?!?! Oh did I mention that they were thrown in LIVE?? VERY LIVE! This is how fried scorpions look like: Me getting ready to gobble one down:

How did they taste? Just crispy lor and a little prickly but overall it was good la. We all had a second serving... heh heh heh... After this sensational experience, we went to Hangzhou's most famous restaurant- 楼外楼. Like what uncle always say, "来杭州没去楼外楼,就不算来过杭州!" They have their 4 most famous dishes. Dish Number 1: Beggar's Chicken (not bad... very unique taste.. maybe cos of the beef inside) Me and the chef who is preparing the chicken Dish Number 2: Prawns with Long Jing (more like shrimps lor.. not that fantastic) Dish Number 3: Dongpo Meat (I dun like it cos its too oily and fattening. Look at that layer of FAT!!?!! And the skin still had hair on it la..) Whats with the shocked look?? I know I said I dun like to eat such oily stuff but den this is 招牌菜 leh, dun eat this is I dumb leh.. Dish Number 4: errr... forgot wat it is called... some fish bah.. but not bad very unique sauce. So overall it was a wonderful experience until the bill came. ): There were like 8 of us and each of us had to pay RMB 100+ and it was not like we were super full after that. But it was an experience la. Oh and all restaurants in China have this voucher thing that u can scratch after u pay. Like if I paid RMB 800 for the meal, they will give me RMB 800 worth of vouchers. If any of the vouchers show that u have won, you will get back the amount that the voucher represents. But u will hardly win a large amount la.. most of my collegues said they won like only RMB5. But every restaurant has to give this cos through this they can avoid certain taxes. After the expensive dinner, we chit chatted with this taxi driver, asking him where we can go to KTV or pub. He brought us to this place called Diamond Plaza ah I tink to KTV. Haha another night of KTV-ing after we KTV-ed at Hao Le Di on friday. 2 nights of consecutive KTV-ing is definitely not good for voice and complexion. Totally cui-ed after that. On the 4th floor is this super expensive KTV place: They even have ladies and guys to accompany you in your rooms la. The weird thing is, ladies cost RMB300 while the guys cost RMB 500. Why are the girls cheaper? Anyway it was too ex la so we left and went to level 3 for Ying Le Di. Super Uncle right?? HEH HEH HEH... =P It was super damn it cheap la!! RMB15 for each of us to sing from 11 pm till 6am! If we knew it right we wldn't even have booked a hotel... just sing till 6 am den go for our morning tours from the KTV place.. hahaha. But since we booked the hotel, we still went back la but we hardly had the time to sleep lorz. Sunday: We had a dramatic start in the morning when 某人1 lost his or her passport. We were all frantically looking for it until it turned out that 某人2 kept 某人1's passport in his or her bag. -_-"' And we were all late for the one-day tour we signed up for. The tour guide came to scold us, accusing us of misplacing our stuff but seriously heck her la.. its not like we wan it to go missing and its really weird how the passport got into the other bag.. So we finally started on our tour at ard 8 plus la. First destination- West Lake Cruise. Our tour flag was this Brazil Flag..dun ask me why. On the boat: This is the stone that they say must touch 3 times to get good luck. Uncle eating the brown colour corn. From his face, dun think he liked it =P opps More photos. Oh there was these 2 woman that Adelyn and I were super pissed off with. Its like we shared the boat with them la den becos they open their window fully, we cldn't open ours. When we asked them to let us open, they gave some stupid excuse la. So basically, adelyn and I tried to take revenge by trying to sit in front of them when we returned to the boat den refuse to let them open their window. But these 2 pple... super qiang la... they CUT QUEUE SUPER POWER. Adelyn and I totally sha yan... dunno wat to do. But we managed to take their back shots... heh heh heh After that we went on to other attractions. Cannot really rmb where we went... there were too many and our tour guide was totally CHUI-ED. Totally nv explain anything to us. The bus was so squeezy and stuffy too. Den cos it was a one day tour, the schedule was so full that we had to run to our meeting point at every tourist attraction. Super sianz.. Oh this is uncle trying to let the coin float on the water. It was a game la... he thot it was super easy... hahha but in the end, none of the coins he put managed to float =P At Song Cheng.. seriously there is nothing there to see.. The famous Ling Ying Si: Our tour finally ended at 5 plus. Throughout the whole tour I was like looking fwd to it ending la.. The girls cam-whoring outside our train back to Shanghai. Home Sweet Home!
I still prefer Shanghai!!
