What I love abt Shanghai??

Firstly, paiseh for the lack of updates cos the freaking internet in my company cannot enter google. Cannot believe it right? Like wth right can enter everything except google. I didn't know how much i depended on google till now lorz. And sad to say blogspot is under google so I cannot update or even access my blog at work... how sian is that man. Haiz... so ya that is why i haven been updating for a long long time.

NO LAH NOT COS OF FOOD.

It is cos everything is so CHEAP! You noe this big bowl of he fen costs how much?? Its a freakin RMB 4, which is SGD 0.9 even with an exchange rate of 4.44 now. ITS A FREAKIN 90 CENTS LEH!?!?! Where to get such a deal in Singapore sia....and u noe wats the best part?? Its 90 cents to get it at your door step. Got pple send to ur doorstep leh and in 15 mins time!?!?! Tell me 90 cents can get wat in Singapore? Snacks ah? Shiok right?? Wah I just love shanghai man!

Chilling out..

Monday was 小吃街 and chilling out night! Too bad I could only join the rest later so I had to eat all the 小吃 myself... heh heh. I had 小杨生煎 and 招牌芒果冰沙. I've fallen in love with cheena's 生煎包 and their 小笼包 leh... I just cannot get sick of them!! But they are all so fattening la cos all the zham (juice) inside is all oil ): Why must tasty food always be fattening.... haiz... so when i go back SG and u all see an even fatter Vivien u guys noe why le ... its cos of all the 包S.

Right after dinner, it was chilling time! All thanks to Wei Qi, we found a new place to chill and its called 田子坊(Wei Qi 万岁！). Very cosy and decent place. Its like full of cafes, pubs, restaurants and not that crowded with ang mohs like 新天地. We found this new cafe that opened just a month ago. The boss is super friendly la... and we practically had the whole place to ourselves since we were the only customers heh heh. We sipped coffee and white wine while we chit chat-ted and talk-ed cock under the shanghai night sky. Too bad shanghai got no stars if not we can like bask under the moonlight and starry sky (Think cos here too polluted le la thats why no stars hahaha) Hmm guess I will be back there soon! Perhaps thurs with some colleagues (:I just love chilling

CJW once again..

After weeks of boredom, there is finally some activity in my life. Thurs night we went off to CJW!! WHOOHOO!! U all dun noe how happy I was man... I have been so bored for weeks that I walked 南京西路 dunno how many times lor. Just walk and walk and walk... a bit emo hor but I guess everyone needs some alone-time. Esp since now the weather's good... feels really good to walk in 上海 at night observing the crowd and enjoying the breeze (:

the power of boredom

For the first time in my life, I finally understood the real meaning of boredom. Its like I like shanghai, i like it here BUT then I'm just so bored cos perhaps I'm not busy enough? Or somehow life seems to be less happening than before. Maybe its cos of the lack of tutorials and tests? The real reason? I really do not know. All I know is that I'm bored till the extent that I'm checking my MSN contact list every minute to find people to talk cock to. Its super duper frustrating. Its like a stone on my heart, not really a burden just a feeling that I cannot get rid of. Do not misunderstand me and say "and I thought Vivien was enjoying Shanghai". Yes I am enjoying shanghai, i like the food the culture (though there are many ugly acts all ard me), the people etc but den life just seems to be lacking some sort of excitement. What exactly is this thing that I'm lacking?? ):
