A weekend of chilling
Instead of going to touristy areas like 黄山,千岛湖,杭州,无锡,苏州,the trio decided on 长兴 farmstay. Okay...its not really a farmstay...more upmarket la but very cheap! RMB 205 for 1 night with all meals provided. Woah the meals ah not bad one lehz alot of greens... exactly what we are lacking in shanghai. And the Chicken Soup! *Glurp* *Slurp* *Burp* FANTASTIC! The kampong chickens like very little fats one and very firm!
The front of the "farm". Ok lah they are "farmers" but as u noe nowadays farmers in China very rich cos they hv land use rights etc etc so we are staying in their houses now. Something like a hotel.

Beautiful Landscapes. Takes my mind off everything.






It was a really relaxing weekend esp aft the horrible week that I had. Nua-ed the whole day like just sleep, wake up, eat, sleep, walk, chill, talk... SHIOK la. LIFE IS SHIOK! Now its 12.17 am, Monday. Its the start of the week and a brand new beginning. JIAYOU VIVIEN!!

Having tried Italian, Spanish, Shanghainese, Chinese, ...(certain parts of China) food, the next was naturally French (:
We tried this nice restaurant called "Nice" hahaha. I had 5 course meal for RMB 488... kinda EX but then first time trying french so shld be ok bah... somemore SGD 100 how to get such atas french food in Singapore??
Ooo they serve free flow bread too like Barcaro but then no Olive Oil ):

Number 1: Beef Carpaccio

Number 2: Roasted Scallop with Black Truffles

Number 3: Pumpkin "Cappucino" with White Truffle Oil

Number 4: MAIN COURSE! *SLURP*
Liu Ping's crab w Linguine

Australian steak with Asparagus and Parma Ham

I had the same as Xueyuan la just that mine is 80% done and his is 50%.

Author's Rating: Nice ambience, really atas but foodwise ain't that fantastic la. The beef just ok only nth special about it. So i think its not worth the buck. Still prefer my italian and perhaps Japanese food at Haiku.

FINALLY... a fine day to remember
OMG after days of boredom and craving... I FINALLY GOT BACK TO BACARO TODAY!! WHOOHOO! 3 cheers to ade and Xueyuan! I love u guys man!

Super Atas Water.

OMG its damn good la this olive oil all the way from Italy! So heavenly that I did consider marrying an Italian hahaha.
Q: What is Vivien's fave Italian food?
A: Not pasta, not pizza, but Oilve Oil and Bread... *slurp*


Our appetizer:
Stuffed bread something and some bread thing with cheese and ham on top (they had super nice names la just that i cannot rmb heh)

This time we all had pasta...



Complimentary drink of vodka + lemon ice cream + etc.

Our current fave hideout in Shanghai: 田子坊. A place where you can chill, relax and bitch.


Our fave shop in 田子坊- Katherine. A shop that sells wine and coffee. Wonderful ambience. Wonderful music. Wonderful people.

Gosh Im so addicted to fine dining and chilling. *sigh* a lifestyle that cannot be fulfilled in Singapore.
